You will never regret documenting your family & motherhood journey.
Dressing yourself in the morning is hard enough - especially when you don't have to stand in front of a camera and be your best self. Choosing WHAT to wear for your photoshoot can make or break your photos.
The white shirt and denim jean definitely has it's place. However, coordinating your outfits based on the environment (and your comfort!!) is your starting point.

Mum, first.

Mum usually has a favourite dress she'd like to wear - the kids and husband can then coordinate around that. If it's tan/bone/cream - it' s ok to bring the kids in their play clothes and change them once you are here - trust me, I know how easily kids can get marks anywhere and everywhere!! Flowy dresses, corduroy, chino's are perfect, and match them with a cute pair of brown boots or sandles.

Texture - bring it ALL!

Even in the warmer months here is NSW, layers and textures add great interest to a photo. Think jackets, scarves, furs, beanies, capes. We can take items away if they don't work - but if you don't bring them, we'll never know. So, pack a few things in a bag and we can sort the finer details during the shoot.

Hair and Makeup

This is totally your call - but I want you to look like you. For the ladies - dark, moody makeup has it's place -but, a photo session calls for a more natural application. And as for the hair - leave it down. It gives you movement in the breeze - and when I am giving your prompts- we want ALL the movement!

It doesn't always have to be white and cream...

Bold colours like rust, dark green, mustard, and burgandy also work beautifully with our landscape.
